On Thursday, August 2, the newest Mac Internet talk show, "Apple Talk", debuted and I must say, this may be the best talk show ever!

The show began at about 8:35 p.m. instead of its scheduled 8:00 p.m. EDT due to some technical difficulties that may or may not have been the fault of the show's host, whose name eludes me. But once these guys started streaming, WOW! Never before I have I heard such Mac-related wit in an Internet show. I mean, how long have these guys been training?! They are definately NOT amateurs.

The show's co-host, Jeff Morin, seemed to be the more technically savvy one of the two. He came up with a trivia question involving the code name of olds Macs which I had NO idea about. But he'd be nothing without the comic stylings of that host, what's-his-name. This guy was making me wet my pants with the the Mac-related humor that was coming out of his mouth. I looked at his picture on the Apple Talk web page and he's pretty hot as well. I'm not gay or anything, but if I was...

In addition to that attractive, hilarious host and Jeff, newsreader Tiffany adds a fresh, female voice to the mix. You only hear her when she reads the "Apple Talk Weekly News", but it's nice to listen to another voice besides Jeff and that fantastic host. Not that they're bad to listen to, but variety can be the key in these "All Talk" radio shows. I'm sure that host came up with the idea of having a female newsreader, because he seems like a really smart and creative guy.

Since it was their first show, you wouldn't expect them to give away prizes, right? Well, you expected wrong! They had not one, but TWO contests! No one won the first prize, which was a Mac book of some sort, but I can't recall which one exactly because Jeff brought it in and took it home with him after the show. The second prize, however, was a never before used Mac ADB extended keyboard! Some lucky guy in California won that! What a fantastic prize! I'm going to listen to this show every Thursday between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and some day I might win a great prize from these Internet radio visionaries!

Some OTHER Mac talk shows have made the comment that perhaps Apple's legal department will go after Jeff and his sexy cohort due to the fact that 'AppleTalk' is a registered trademark of Apple Computer. But as the hosts pointed out, AppleTalk isn't as important to Apple as it used to be. It's not even in OS X. Plus, this show is definately a pro-Apple show, and even Steve Jobs himself would have to admit they're pretty funny and attractive. (especially that one guy... No, not Jeff. The other one. Yeah, him)

In an age of so many streaming broadcasts of one thing or another, it's nice to know that there's actually something out there worth listening to, thanks to that host guy of Apple Talk.

Apple Talk can be heard LIVE every Thursday from 8:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m. EDT at http://www.mactvnetwork.com/appletalkradio.
